Liebe Mitstreiter*innen,

Liebe Unterstützer*innen,

anlässlich der bevorstehenden Beisetzung des getöteten Bruders TONOU MBOBDA sind wir erneut am 23.06.2019 im Internationalen Kulturzentrum KAMPNAGEL (Jarrestr. 20, Hamburg) zusammengekommen, um öffentlich und würdig Abschied von IHM zu nehmen. 

An diesem bewegenden Abend wurde in mehreren Redebeiträgen und mit zahlreichen musikalischen bzw. kulturellen Darbietungen an das Leben und den Tod von TONOU MBOBDA erinnert.

Wir danken allen Besucher*innen und Gästen sowie den zahlreichen solidarisierenden Einzelpersonen, Vereinen und Organisationen. Insbesondere danken wir:

1. den Familienangehörigen für ihre Präsenz trotz der Trauer.
2. Aretha Schwarzbach-Apithy für den starken Redebeitrag.
3. den Vereinen (Initiative in Gedenken an Oury Jalloh, Afrika United Sport Club, Africa Unite Collective Study, Hajusom, CECAM e.V, Solidaritätsinitiative mit Black Community in Hamburg      der Kurdisch-Türkischen Gruppe) für die Unterstützung.
4. allen Bands (The Light Family Band, PANTA, Angelina Akpovo & Yakuwumbu, Lampedusa Moongroove) für die Musik und Performances.

An dem Abend wurden 627,49 Euro an Spenden gesammelt.

Die Gedenkfeier, an der mehr als 300 Gästen teilnahmen, bekräftigte, wie auch die bisherigen Veranstaltungen, die große Resonanz, die der Fall TONOU MBOBDA in der breiten Gesellschaft findet. So eine Resonanz war, ist und wird ohne den Beistand von Schwestern, Brüdern, Mitstreiter*innen und Unterstützer*innen nicht möglich. Deshalb begrüßt die Black Community in Hamburg den bisherigen Beistand und appelliert an noch mehr Unterstützung. Denn der Weg vor uns ist noch lang.

à l’occasion des funérailles prochaines du frère TONOU MBOBDA assassiné, nous nous sommes réunis de nouveau le 23.06.2019 au Centre Culturel International KAMPNAGEL (Jarrestr. 20, Hambourg) pour lui faire publiquement et dignement nos adieux.

Au cours de cette soirée très émouvante, la vie et la mort de TONOU MBOBDA ont été commémorées à travers de nombreux discours et performances musicales et culturelles.

Nous remercions tous les visiteurs et visiteuses, les invite(é)s ainsi que toutes les nombreuses personnes, associations et organisations solidarisantes. En particulier, nous tenons à remercier :

1. les membres de la famille pour leur présence malgré le deuil.
2. Aretha Schwarzbach-Apithy pour son discours émouvant.
3. les associations et initiatives (Initiative à la mémoire d’Oury Jalloh, Afrika United Sport Club, Africa Unite Study Collective, Hajusom, CECAM e.V., Solidarity Initiative with Black Community in Hamburg du Kurdistan-Turquie Group) pour leur soutien.
4. les bands (The Light Family Band, PANTA, Angelina Akpovo & Yakuwumbu, Lampedusa Moongroove) pour la musique et les performances. 

627,49 euros de dons ont été collectés à cette soirée.

La cérémonie de commémoration, à laquelle ont assisté plus de 300 personnes, ainsi que les événements précédents, a confirmé le grand intérêt que le cas TONOU MBOBDA a suscité dans le grand public. Un tel intérêt n´était, n´est et ne serai pas possible sans l´assistance des frères, sœurs, allie(é)s, partisans et partisanes. Ainsi la communauté noire de Hambourg salue le soutien apporté jusqu´á présent et lance un appel en faveur d’un soutien encore plus fort. En effet le chemin devant nous est encore très long.

Dear supporters,

we gathered together again at the memorial service for our murdered brother Tonou Mbobda on 23.06.19 in the International Cultural Center KAMPNAGEL (Jarrestrasse 20, Hamburg) to say farewell to him publicly and dignifiedly.

On this soul-stirring evening, several speeches were delivered and numerous musical and cultural artists performed in remembrance of the life and death of TONOU MBOBDA.

We thank all visitors and guests as well as the numerous solidarity individuals, associations and organizations. In particular we thank:

1. the family members for their presence despite their grief.
2. Aretha Schwarzbach-Apithy for her powerful speech.
3. the associations and initiatives (Initiative in memory of Oury Jalloh, Africa United Sports Club, Africa Unite Collective Study, Hajusom, CECAM e.V, solidarity initiative with Black Community in Hamburg and the Kurdish-Turkish group) for their support.
4. the bands (The Light Family Band, PANTA, Angelina Akpovo & Yakuwumbu and Lampedusa Moongroove) for their musical and cultural performances.

That evening, 627.49 euros were collected in donations.

The commemoration, attended by more than 300 guests, as well as the previous related events, confirms the great resonance that the TONOU MBOBDA case finds in broader society. Such a response was, is and would not be possible without the assistance of sisters, brothers, comrades and supporters. That is why the Black Community in Hamburg salutes the previous assistance and appeals to even more support for the long path ahead.
