Der Informationsabend soll den aktuellen Stand des juristischen Ermittlungsverfahrens vermitteln: Nach über 6 Monaten sind die Ermittlungen der Staatsanwaltschaft Hamburg noch immer nicht
abgeschlossen! Warum wird das Verfahren so lange herausgezögert, obwohl doch die Zeugenaussagen eindeutig
und Fehler der Verantwortlichen bereits offenkundig sind?

Die Schwester des Getöteten wird über die Beerdigung von Bruder William Anfang Juli 2019 in Bayangam Kamerun sowie über die Gedanken, Fragen und Gefühle der Familie berichten.
Der renommierte Menschenrechtsanwalt Dr. David Schneider-Addae-Mensah wird über die systemischen und juristischen Problematiken von Zwangsbehandlungen informieren sowie
wesentliche Urteile des Bundesverfassungsgerichtes zu diesem Thema erläutern.
Der gesundheitspolitische Sprecher der Bürgerschaftsfraktion Die Linke Deniz Çelik wird über den Umgang mit dem Todesfall Tonou Mbobda und Zwangsbehandlungen im Gesundheitsausschuss der Bürgerschaft und die Antworten auf Kleine Anfragen seiner Fraktion berichten.
Zusätzlich haben wir 2 engagierte Aktivistinnen aus Großbritannien gewinnen können, die beide
Familienangehörige durch tödliche Zwangsfixierungen verloren haben. Marcia Rigg kämpft seit dem 21. August 2008 für Gerechtigkeit für den gewaltvollen Tod ihres Bruders Sean Rigg vor dem Pollizeirevier in Brixton (London). Ajibola Lewis wird Einblicke in die Umstände des Todes ihres Sohnes geben, in der Psychiatrie des Bethlem Royal Hospital in Croyden (London), wo er zu Tode fixiert wurde und wie sich dieFamilie und die Community unermüdlich dafür stark gemacht haben, bis im Parlament ein neues Gesetzes beschlossen wurde: Seni’s Law- The Mental Health Units (Use Of Force) Act 2018.
Die Aktivist*innen der Kampagne #JusticeForMbobda der Black Community Hamburg werden über Stand der Aufklärung sowie den systemischen Charakter des Verbrechens berichten.
Gemeinsam wollen wir dann die verschiedenen Szenarien im weiteren Ablauf erörtern und über mögliche Schritte, bei der Mobilisierung einer breiten Öffentlichkeit beraten.

Hintergrund:
William Tonou Mbobda wurde am 21. April 2019 vor der Psychiatrie des Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) durch 3 „Sicherheitsmitarbeiter“ der UKE-Tochterfirma KLE brutal
und ohne Rechtsgrundlage angegriffen und gewaltsam getötet.
Die Black Community Hamburg hat beschlossen, die Aufklärung dieses rassistischen Verbrechens gegen die Deutungshoheiten der verantwortlichen Täter*innen des UKE Hamburg

Die Initiative in Gedenken an Oury Jalloh unterstützt dieses Anliegen in enger Zusammenarbeit. Das UKE hat den gewaltsamen Tod als „medizinischen Zwischenfall“ verharmlost, Bruder William als „gefährlich“ dämonisiert und entgegen der ärztlichen Schweigepflicht medizinische Informationen in die Öffentlichkeit getragen. Die rechtsmedizinische Untersuchung fand im UKE selbst und unter Leitung von Prof. Klaus Püschel statt, der eine angeborene – aber bis dahin weder symptomatische noch diagnostizierte – Herzveränderung in den Vordergrund rückte und die ursächliche Gewaltanwendung schlicht ignoriert.
Ohne die breite Solidarität und den kämpferischen Widerstand der Black Community in Hamburg und Deutschland wäre die rechtswidrige Tötung von Bruder William wohl schon jetzt
als „medizinischer Zwischenfall“ unter den institutionellen Teppich gekehrt worden…

After over 6 months the investigations of the public prosecutor’s office Hamburg are still not concluded! Why are the proceedings still being delayed for such a long time, even though the testimonies of several eye witnesses are consistent and misconduct of those responsible are already obvious?

The sister of the William Tomou Mbobda will report on the funeral of Brother William which took place early July 2019 in Bayangam Cameroon as well as on the thoughts, questions and feelings of the family. The renowned human rights lawyer Dr. David Schneider-Addae-Mensah will provide information on systemic and legal problems of coercive treatment and explain the main
judgments of the Federal Constitutional Court on this subject.
The spokesman for health policy of the Hamburg Parliament „Die Linke“ Deniz Çelik, will report on the handling of the death of Tonou Mbobda and forced treatment by the Citizens‘ Health Committee and the answers to inquiries made to the Hamburg Senate. In addition, we have invited 2 dedicated activists from the UK who have both lost family members through fatal fixations. Marcia Rigg has been fighting for justice since 21 August 2008
for the violent death of her brother Sean Rigg in front of the police station in Brixton (London) – Ajibola Lewis will provide insight into the circumstances surrounding her son’s death in the
psychiatric ward of the Bethlem Royal Hospital in Croyden (London), where he was restrained to death by and how the family and community have worked tirelessly until a new law was passed in parliament: Seni’s Law- The Mental Health Units (Use Of Force) Act 2018.
The activists of the campaign #JusticeForMbobda of the Black Community Hamburg will report about the state of the investigation and the systemic character of the crime.
Together we will then discuss the different scenarios and possible steps to mobilize a broad public.
#JusticeForMbobda activists of The Black Community Hamburg will inform on the status of the clarification of this systemic racist crime and on steps to be taken for further mobilisation will be given.

Background:
William Tonou Mbobda was brutally attacked and violently killed on 21 April 2019 in front of the psychiatric ward of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) by 3 „security
employees“ of the UKE subsidiary KLE without a legal basis.
The Black Community Hamburg has committed itself to advance the investigation of this systemic crime against the sovereign interpretation of the responsible perpetrators of UKE

The UKE has trivialised the violent death as a „medical incident“, demonised Brother William as „dangerous“ and, contrary to medical confidentiality, has made medical information public.The forensic examination took place in the UKE itself and under the direction of Prof. Klaus Püschel, who emphasized a congenital – but until then neither symptomatic nor diagnosed – heart
condition and simply ignored the causal use of fatal force.
Without the broad solidarity and combative resistance of the Black Community in Hamburg and Germany, the unlawful killing of Brother William would have been swept under the institutional
carpet as a „medical incident“
