VIRTUELLES TOWNHALL MEETING ZU INSTITUTIONELLEM RASSISMUS UND AFROPHOBIA (Anti-Schwarzer Rassismus)

Sonntag, 21.03.2021 | 15-18h | Internationaler Tag gegen Rassismus

Sunday, 21.03.2021 | 15-18h | International Day against Racism

All Black and African Diaspora communities and persons of African descent are invited to collaborate and participate in a virtual Townhall Meeting on Afrophobia (Anti-Black Racism).
Recent events in the last months have renewed our commitment to justice work to address the problem of anti-Black and institutional racism with a strategy a structured dialogue and accountability. The BLACK COMMUNITY Coalition stands on the position that racism is systemic and institutions, agencies and media that allow and use it have been in denial for far too long. This Town Hall Meeting is intended to be yet another step in naming and highlighting the ongoing anti-Black racism and how it impacts our people and families of African descent. We want to reactivate the principle of „Community Connect“ to build stronger relationships with each other and coordinate in a way that will strengthen our efforts to combat racism and discrimination. This virtual Town-Hall-Meeting is especially meant to provide space for Black people in Hamburg who have not yet exchanged their views.
